2015 WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne Hosts Elite Boys Basketball Camps in Delaware

There are not many basketball players more revered in the state of Delaware than the reigning WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne.  The Wilmington native is bringing her expertise home in a series of one-day boys basketball camps.

The De11e Donne Academy will hold elite camps at Hockessin Athletic Club on January 10th, 17th, and 31st.  Sessions are geared at campers from the ages of 9-16 and cost $375.

In addition to expert basketball training, those in attendance will receive a De11e Donne Academy t-shirt, signed poster, and selfie with Delle Donne.  It is a great time to learn tips from a player on top of the basketball world.

Delle Donne's career took off during the 2015 season when she averaged a league-best 23.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game on the way to MVP honors.  She also led her Chicago Sky team to a third straight postseason appearance while making her third sraight All-Star appearance.

A popular player from the start, Delle Donne led WNBA All-Star voting during her rookie campaign after being the second overall pick of the 2013 WNBA Draft.  She was the first first year player to ever accomplish that feat and went on to take Rookie of the Year honors after the season.

Delle Donne had an established name entering the league after leading the University of Delaware to a deep NCAA Tournament run as a senior.
