2016 U.S. Amateur Champion Curtis Luck Signs Endorsement Deal with Callaway

This past weekend, Curtis Luck turned professional and companies have lined up to work with the promising golf star. His first major endorsement deal was with Callaway Golf.

Luck played Callaway clubs and ball in-competition at the Valero Texas Open. As part of the multiyear agreement, he is also wearing a Callaway glove during tournament play.

Luck has already been playing with Callaway equipment for some time. He has used a staff with his name on it while playing as an amateur.

In 2016, Luck won the U.S. Amateur. This year, he reached number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking before turning pro in April.

Luck was named the Emerging Athlete of the Year at the 2016 Australian Institute Sport Performance Awards. He received an invitation to the Masters this spring and finished in a tie for 46th.

Luck is from Perth, Australia and was a runner-up at the 2014 Australian Amateur. He also won the Western Australian Open at the PGA Tour of Australasia in 2016.
