Baylor Coach Matt Rhule Speaks at Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce Kickoff Luncheon August 22nd

Baylor football fans are entering the 2017 season with many unanswered questions about the program under first-year head coach Matt Rhule. The new Bears coach will provide some clarity at the upcoming Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce Kickoff Luncheon.

Rhule is previewing the 2017 season at the event on August 22nd. The festivities for the 29th annual luncheon will take place at the Ferrell Center.

Former NFL running back Justin Forsett is also speaking at the event. In addition to those two great presentations, attendees will watch a video package that previews the high school football season in Central Texas.

Rhule was named the Bears new head coach after a successful four-year run at Temple. He guided the Owls to back-to-back ten-win seasons and 7-1 finishes in the American Athletic Conference.

Temple won the AAC East Division in 2015 and were champions of the conference last season. In 2015, Rhule led the program to their first win over in-state power Penn State since 1941.

Rhule was an assistant coach at Temple from 2006-2011. He spent the 2012 season as an assistant offensive line coach with the New York Giants before being rehired by the Owls.
