College Basketball Expert Seth Davis Speaks Tuesday at Hamilton Center Awards Dinner

The Hoosier State is getting ready for another basketball season.  As a result, the Hamilton Center in Terre Haute, Indiana is bringing in a big name from the college hoops world as the keynote speaker at their 44th annual awards dinner.

CBS Sports’ analyst and Sports Illustrated writer Seth Davis will speak to the crowd on Tuesday at the Hulman Center.  The event runs from 5:30-8:00 p.m. with tickets for individuals running $40.00.

The Hamilton Center is a not-for-profit community mental health center.  As a result, Davis will speak about mental health in college athletics.

Davis is one of the face viewers are most familiar with during March Madness work with CBS and Turner Sports during the tournament.  He also plays a vital role with the network during the regular season, appearing during CBS’ “At The Half” segments and on the CBS Sports Network.

For Sports Illustrated, Davis has been a respected voice since 1995.  His weekly “Hoop Thoughts” column is a go-to during the season.

Davis has written two books, including “When March Went Mad: The Game That Transformed Basketball” and “Wooden: A Coach’s Life”.  He is also the host of The Seth Davis Show, Mondays and Fridays on campusinsiders.com.
