ESPN College Basketball Analyst Seth Greenberg Speaks at MTSU Tip-Off Luncheon

College basketball season is about to ramp up and one of the names now synonymous with the sport is ESPN broadcaster Seth Greenberg.  Greenburg is helping one lucky program kick off their season on Thursday.

He is the featured speaker at Stones River Country Club for Middle Tennessee State’s Tip-Off Celebration sponsored by Auto Art Body Shop.  The lunch event begins at 11:30 a.m. and runs till 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the doors.  They can be purchased ahead of time by calling the MTSU ticket office at 615-898-5261.

Prior to joining ESPN, Greenberg had 24 years of coaching experience.  He had 15 years as a head coach and took three teams to the NCAA Tournament.

Greenberg posted winning records at Long Beach State, USF, and Virginia Tech.  He is second in wins for the 49ers after the legendary Jerry Tarkanian.

While with the Hokies, Greenberg routinely exceeded expectations in the tough ACC and was the conference’s Coach of the Year on two occasions.  Prior to taking his first head coaching job, he served as the associate head coach at Long Beach State for three seasons.
