Ex-Major Leaguer Jeff Cirillo Keynotes West Coast League All-Star Luncheon

The West Coast League All-Star Game is being hosted by the Yakima Valley Pippins this week. They are having a special guest at Tuesday's All-Star Luncheon, former major leaguer Jeff Cirillo

Cirillo will be the keynote speaker at the event that starts at noon. The players will arrive at 11:30 a.m. and the cost to attend is $30. 

Tonight, there will be ten competitors squaring off in the Home Run Derby. The West Coast League All-Star Game takes place at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday night and tickets range in price from $7-$10. 

Cirillo played primarily third base over the course of 14 big league seasons. He spent his first six years with the Milwaukee Brewers and made the All-Star team in 1997. 

Cirillo hit .300 or better in a season six times. He was named an All-Star again while with the Colorado Rockies in 2000 and finished the season with a.326 batting average and 110 RBI. 

Cirillo shares the major league record with 99 straight errorless games at third base. He retired in 2007 and has been a broadcaster, coach and scout since leaving the game.
