Former Atlanta Falcons Standout Tim Green Holds Chicago-Area Book Signing Thursday

Former NFL player turned author Tim Green is back out on the book signing tour. He will make an appearance tomorrow in the Chicago-area tomorrow. 

Green will be at Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville, Illinois at 7 p.m. He is signing copies of his children's book, "Baseball Genius." 

The book was co-written for young readers by New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter. The event is free and fans can enter the line by purchasing the book from the store for $16.99. 

Green was the 17th overall pick of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He spent his entire eight-year career with the Falcons and collected 24 sacks. 

Green's book, "Football Genius," made him a bestselling author. He has visited over 1000 schools talking about the importance of education and the benefits of reading. 

When Green retired, he began working as an analyst for Fox NFL Sunday and he has continued to host various television programs. He currently is on the board for Golisano Children's Hospital and the National Writing Project.
