Former College Football Coach Tommy Tuberville Speaks at Birmingham Quarterback Club

Birmingham, Alabama is one of the most passionate cities about college football. That intrigue funnels each week during the season into the wildly successful Monday Morning Quarterback Club.

This past Monday, former Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville served as the club's speaker. He talked about the Tigers loss last weekend to LSU and the outlook for Alabama this year.

Tuberville also discussed his interest in getting back to working either in coaching or athletic administration. He kicked off a month-long run of coaches coming to speak to the club with Nick Saban, Chad Morris and Bill Clark currently on the schedule.

Tuberville got his head coaching start at the University of Mississippi before coming to Auburn in 1999. He coached the Tigers for ten seasons and led them to six top 25 finishes.

In 2004, Auburn went 13-0 and won the Southeastern Conference. They also won five SEC West Division titles and Tuberville was a two-time SEC Coach of the Year.

Tuberville went on to coach Texas Tech for three seasons and the University of Cincinnati for four years. He is currently a college football analyst for ESPN.
