Former Dallas Cowboys Linebacker Dat Nguyen Speaks at FCA Luncheon Thursday

Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Dat Nguyen had a monstrous college and pro career in the state of Texas. Tomorrow, he will speak about his time on the gridiron in Hill County at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes community luncheon. 

The event takes place from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the Marble Falls Church of Christ. Individual tickets are $20, a table of eight is $200 and for $500 attendees can reserve a table of eight and an FCA football autographed by Nguyen.

The luncheon is being catered by Choccolatte's in Marble Falls. Nguyen will also appear at an FCA golf tournament named after him in San Antonio that day. 

Nguyen was a standout four-year starter at Texas A&M and set a school record with 517 career tackles. As a senior, he was an All-American and the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. 

The Dallas Cowboys selected Nguyen in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He spent his entire seven-year career with the franchise and was an All-Rookie Team selection in 1999 and a second-team All-Pro in 2003. 

Nguyen is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, Texas A&M Athletic Hall of Fame, Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame and Texas Sports Hall of Fame. He coached for both the Cowboys and Aggies after his playing career.
