Former Green Bay Packers President and CEO Bob Harlan Speaks at Door CANcer Fundraiser

On May 6th, former Green Packers president and CEO Bob Harlan lends his help to a special fundraiser.  He is the keynote speaker at the 18th Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser for Door CANcer.

The fundraiser will be held at Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.  Door CANcer helps pay daily living expenses for cancer patients.

Last year, they gave over $120,000 to those in need.  Tickets for this event are $55 and will benefit this fund.

Harlan was president and CEO of the Packers from 1989-2006.  He oversaw a resurgence of the Green Bay brand that culminated with victory in Super Bowl XXXI.

Additionally, Harlan also saw a massive renovation of iconic Lambeau Field.  He originally joined the franchise in 1971 as assistant general manager.

Prior to arriving in Green Bay, Harlan worked in sports public relations, first as a sports information director at Marquette before eventually becoming the director of public relations for the St. Louis Cardinals.  Today, he serves as chairman emeritus for the Packers and remains an important community ambassador.
