Former Green Bay Packers Receiver Donald Driver Speaks to Kohl's Employees in Milwaukee

On Friday, former standout Green Bay Packer Donald Driver was able to surprise a group of his fans.  Driver spoke to several Kohl’s staffers at their corporate offices in Milwaukee to motivate them in advance of Saturday’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk”.

The walk was held at Veteran’s Park.  Kohl’s has been working with the American Cancer Society since 2010 and has donated over $7 million in that time.

Driver spoke passionately to the group about a disease that has taken his father and a best friend.   In addition to his speech, he held a special meet and greet for 20 Kohl’s employees who have gone above and beyond in the fight against breast cancer.

During his 14 seasons with the Packers, Driver was a four-time Pro Bowler.  He holds franchise records for career catches and receiving yards.

Driver got the benefit of playing with two great quarterbacks in Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers.  He helped Green Bay to victory in Super Bowl XLV.

Off the football field, Driver has remained active.  He is an accomplished author and his memoir, Driven, was a New York Times Bestseller.

In 2013, Driver crossed over into the celebrity world and won season 14 of Dancing with the Stars.  Just a few weeks ago, he was invited back to participate in the DWTS 10th anniversary special.

In addition to his travels across the country speaking on a variety of issues, Driver’s foundation continues to impact lives.  After being homeless during parts of his childhood, he has made it his mission to help those in similar situations.
