Former LSU Basketball Coach John Brady Speaks at the Will Wade Tipoff Luncheon

Former LSU men's basketball coach John Brady is back talking Tigers hoops this year. He is in his first year as an analyst for the LSU Sports Network.

Brady shared some of his insights as the speaker at the Will Wade Tipoff Luncheon last week. The event was held on Tuesday at L'Auberge Hotel and Casino.

Lunch began at 11:30 in the Bon Temps Buffet area and was open to the public. Tickets were $14.95 for adults.

Brady coached at LSU for a decade and most notably led the program to the 2006 Final Four. His teams won two Southeastern Conference regular season championships and he was named SEC Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2006.

Brady went on to serve as the head coach at Arkansas State from 2008-16. The Red Wolves won the Sun Belt regular season title in 2011 and 2013.

Brady got his first head coaching opportunity at Samford and left as the all-time winningest coach in program history with 89 victories. He had two stints as an assistant at Mississippi State and spent one season on the staff at New Orleans.
