Former LSU Football Coach Les Miles Speaks at Nebraska Coaches Clinic Next Month

Former LSU head coach Les Miles is about to get a lot more familiar with the University of Nebraska. HIs son Ben recently signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Huskers beginning next year.

Miles will make his first official appearance in Lincoln as a speaker at the Nebraska Coaches Clinic. The event runs March 31st and April 1st at Memorial Stadium.

In addition to Miles presentation, members of the Huskers staff and other local coaches will speak. There will also be a special session on rugby tackling.

During 11-plus seasons of coaching the Tigers, Miles racked up an 114-34 record. He won two Southeastern Conference titles and the 2007 BCS National Championship.

In 2011, Miles got LSU back in the title game and won several national coach of the year awards. Prior to arriving in Baton Rouge, he was the head coach at Oklahoma State for four seasons.

Miles also had a run as the OSU offensive coordinator before coaching tight ends with the Dallas Cowboys for three years. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Michigan.
