Former Missouri Football Coach Gary Pinkel Speaks at Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club

Former Missouri football coach Gary Pinkel is always looking for ways to stay involved with the game he loves. This week, he was able to speak with the Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club.

The event was held on Wednesday at Mermaids Restaurant. In addition to speaking with club members, Pinkel also held court with several members of the media following his presentation.

He addressed the state of the Southeastern Conference and the coaches who make up the league. Pinkel also talked about the potential for a rivalry between Missouri and Arkansas.

Pinkel went on to lead the Tigers to three Big 12 North championships. When the program transitioned to the SEC, they won East Division titles under his watch in 2013 and 2014.

Pinkel is a two-time MAC Coach of the Year and won the SEC Coach of the Year Award in 2014. He is a member of the Toledo Athletic Hall of Fame and the Athletic Hall of Fame at his alma mater, Kent State.
