Former NBA All-Star Mark Eaton Releases Book About Building a Winning Team

Former NBA All-Star Mark Eaton was one of the league's most feared defenders in his era. He has recently used that experience along with his later success in the business world to put together the book, "The Four Commitments of a Winning Team."

In the book, Eaton talks about his journey from 21-year-old auto mechanic to one of the NBA's best players. He shares a plan of action for success that anyone can implement in their life.

Eaton officially released the book at an event on April 3 at the Vivant Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has spent the last two weeks hitting several cities in Utah for book signings.

The 7'4" Eaton played a decade in the NBA, all for the Utah Jazz. He was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year twice and was a three-time All-Defensive First-Team selection.

On four occasions, Eaton led the NBA in blocks and he currently ranks fourth in league history in career blocks. His #53 jersey is retired by the Jazz.

After basketball, Eaton became a popular motivational speaker and he holds the industry's highest designation as a Certified Speaking Professional. He is also a partner in two award-winning Salt Lake City restaurants and has been a popular television commentator.
