Former NFL Coach Dan Reeves Speaks at South Carolina Football Hall of Fame Legends Series

As one of the most successful coaches in the NFL's modern era, Dan Reeves has a strong reputation in football circles. He is also one of the top public speakers from the sports world and he gave an impactful presentation at the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame Legends series. 

The Legends speaker series is a new event for the Hall of Fame. It was held on December 12th at the Embassy Suites in Greenville. 

Individual tickets to hear from Reeves were $30. The Hall of Fame will host three events like it next year, but the speakers for each will be announced at a later date. 

Reeves connection to the Palmetto State started when he played college football at the University of South Carolina. He went on to spend 38 years in the NFL as a player or coach and went to nine Super Bowls.

As a head coach, Reeves led the Denver Broncos to three Super Bowls and the Atlanta Falcons to one Super Bowl. He spent his entire eight-year playing career with the Dallas Cowboys. He also began his coaching career as an assistant on the Cowboys staff in 1972. 

Reeves was also a head coach of the New York Giants and collected a total of 190 wins at his three stops. He is a member of the Denver Broncos Ring of Honor.
