Georgia Football Head Coach Kirby Smart Keynotes Macon Touchdown Club Jamboree February 13th

After his first year on the job at Georgia, head coach Kirby Smart is still busy promoting his program. On February 13th, he will keynote the Mason Touchdown Club jamboree.

This is Smart's second year in a row speaking at the event at The Methodist Home. In addition to the speaker, each year the club honors their Super Seven athletes of the year at the jamboree.

Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be a limited amount of tickets available for $40 for non-members and guests.

In his first season back at his alma mater, Smart piloted the Bulldogs to an 8-5 record with a win in the Liberty Bowl. UGA currently has one of the most highly-regarded recruiting classes in the country as they shore up things before National Signing Day next month.

Prior to returning to Athens, Smart served as defensive coordinator at Alabama for eight years. He also spent time on Nick Saban's coaching staffs at the Miami Dolphins and LSu.

Smart began his coaching career as an administrative assistant at Georgia in 1999. He also had stints coaching at Valdosta State and serving as a graduate assistant at Florida State.
