Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk to Speak at RFID Journal LIVE! Event

Hall of Famer and NFL Network Analyst Marshall Faulk will be speaking at this year’s RFID Journal LIVE! 2015 event in California at the San Diego Convention Center from April 15-17. The sessions of talks will be molded to fit the theme of how to use new levels of data that is captured by radio frequency identification systems. Faulk is going to attend along with some of the representatives from Zebra Technologies and will discuss how the NFL incorporates “New Generation Statistics” that are able to be used thanks to the company’s Sports Solution player-tracking system which keeps accurate locations of a player during the games. This new kind of technology in sports is starting to expand every year, and now with the help of all the computer systems out there a program like Zebra Technologiy’s can identify a player on the field within inches.

The seven-time Pro Bowl champion and Super Bowl XXXIV champion was drafted into the NFL in 1994 during the first round as a second pick by the Indianapolis Colts. He played four years with the team before going to the St. Louis Rams for six years before retiring. In 2009 Faulk was inducted into the Beritbard Hall of Fame by the San Diego Hall of Champions, which includes names of some of the best athletes on and off their playing turf.  Faulk has been working with the NFL Network as an analyst for the past four years as he is in his 5thseason of the show “NFL Total Access”.

Faulk and his team will be speaking to the attendees about all the awesome things that are expected to come as far as technology in sports, and how it can enhance the experience for both the players and the viewers.
