Hockey Hall of Famer Paul Coffey Keynotes Timmins Rock Celebrity Sports Dinner March 5th

Paul Coffey is making the trek to Northern Ontario for his latest speaking engagement. On March 5th, he is headlining the first Timmons Rock Celebrity Sports Dinner.

The event will be held at the Porcupine Dante Club in Timmins. Coffey is going to speak about some of the hockey legends he played with while also giving advice to aspiring young players.

There are only 325 tickets available and they officially went on sale this past Friday. They are $100 and include admission to that day's regular season finale between the Timmons Rock and the Powassan Voodoos.

Coffey is regarded as one of the greatest defensemen in NHL history. He is second in league history among players at his position in career goals, assists and points.

The Edmonton Oilers originally selected Coffey sixth overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft and set a dynasty in motion. He won three Stanley Cups with the Oilers and added a fourth with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991.

Coffey was a 14-time NHL All-Star and three-time winner of the James Norris Memorial Trophy. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.
