National Championship Head Coach Dabo Swinney Speaks at FCA Banquet Next Month

After last night's result in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, there are bound to be some more people signing up for the Southeastern N.C. Fellowship of Christian Athletes Banquet of Excellence. That is because victorious Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is coming to town to serve as guest speaker. 

The event takes place in Wilmington on February 23rd at Port City Community Church. Check-in and dinner begins at 5:45 p.m. while the program including Swinney's presentation kicks off at 7 p.m. 

Sponsor packages are currently being sold that range in price from $1,000-$5,000. If individual tickets are still available for purchase, they will be released at a later date. 

Since taking over the Tigers program in 2008, Swinney has worked wonders. Back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances culiminated last night in the school's first national title since 1981.

Swinney has won at least ten games each season since 2011. He has won three Atlantic Coast Conference titles and five Atlantic Division championships. 

Prior to becoming the head coach at Clemson, Swinney served on the coaching staff for six years. He began his coaching career with the Crimson Tide, where he was a walk-on wide receiver from 1990-92.
