NBA Draft Prospect Sam Dekker Makes Autograph Appearance at Modell's Time Square

Several NBA Draft prospects that plan to be in the greenroom Thursday night have already made their way to New York City and are putting their time to good use.  Former Wisconsin standout Sam Dekker made an appearance at Modell’s Sporting Goods in Times Square Tuesday to sign autographs.

Dekker signed from 3-4:00 p.m. at the store on 234 West 42nd Street.  Former teammate and reigning National Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky was supposed to follow with an autograph session of his own at the store, but had travel problems.

Most experts expect Dekker to go to a team in the lottery.  He helped the Badgers go to back-to-back Final Fours in his collegiate career.

In addition, Dekker was a two-time second-team All-Big 10 pick.  He capped his career in style winning Most Outstanding Player honors for the NCAA West Regional.

During a three-year career at UW, Dekker averaged 12.1 points and five rebounds per game.  He was a consensus five-star prospect and Wisconsin’s Gatorade Player of the Year coming out of Sheboygan Lutheran High School.
