NFL Legend Marcus Allen Keynotes FPFC Expo

Attendees of the Fresh Produce & Fresh Council Expo were excited to be in the presence of a Pro Football Hall of Famer. NFL great Marcus Allen served as keynote speaker. 

Their Southern California Expo was held on July 18th at the Disneyland Hotel. It is the longest running regional produce show in the United States. 

There were 1,700 people in attendance and 250 different companies filled 196 booths at the expo. Allen talked about his road to the NFL and how he envisioned his own success all along the way. 

Allen is one of the greatest all-purpose running backs in NFL history. He collected 12,243 rushing yards and 5,412 receiving yards in a 16-year career spent with the Los Angeles Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs. 

At the time of his retirement, Allen had a league-record 123 rushing touchdowns. He was a six-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro and the NFL's MVP in 1985. 

Allen won Super Bowl XVIII with the Raiders and was the MVP of the game. He was also an outstanding college player at USC and the 1981 Heisman Trophy winner.
