NNAHRA Names Former PGA Tour Pro Notah Begay Keynote Speaker for Annual Conference

Former PGA Tour pro Notah Begay stays true to his Native American roots. This fall, he will be the keynote speaker at the National Native American Human Resources Association Annual Conference.

The event takes place September 25-27 at Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina. It gives tribal governments and enterprises the perfect opportunity to share information about their human resources needs.

There are several educational tracks available that will get attendees up to date with legislation. Begay should provide a powerful keynote about health and wellness.

At Stanford, Begay had a standout college career and became friends with Tiger Woods. He was a three-time All-American for The Cardinal and a member of the school's 1994 NCAA Championship team.

Begay turned professional in 1995 and won two events on the PGA Tour in each of his first two seasons. He was also able to enter the top 20 of the World Golf Ranking.

The Institute for International Sport has named Begay one of the Top 100 Sports Educators in the world. He currently serves as an analyst for the Golf Channel.
