Olympic Cyclist Kristin Armstrong Keynotes Simplot Games Breakfast

The Simplot Games stands as the premier indoor track and field event in the country for high schoolers. This weekend, a special visitor joined the students in Pocatello, Idaho.

Armstrong won gold in the women's individual time trial in 2008, 2012 and 2016. She originally made her Olympic debut in 2004 and finished eighth in the women's road race.

As an amateur, Armstrong was a junior Olympian in swimming, a college track athlete and a triathlete. She joined her first professional cycling team in 2001.

Armstrong also has four-time trial World Championship medals on her resume. She won four National Championships in her career as well.
