Olympic Star Lolo Jones Named Keynote Speaker at Salvation Army Luncheon in Houston

There are not many athletes that embody the American Dream more than Olympian Lolo Jones.  Jones will get to tell her story as the keynote speaker at the 2015 Annual Salvation Army of Greater Houston Luncheon on November 11.

The event takes place at the Hilton Americas in downtown Houston from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Tickets start for individuals at $300, with table sponsorships ranging from $6,000-$25,000.

Those spots can be purchased by calling 832-201-8026 and all proceeds from the tickets benefit Salvation Army programs in the Houston area;

Jones has the rare distinction of being an athlete who has competed in both the summer and winter Olympics.  She currently has her eyes set on the 2016 Games in Rio where she hopes to finally capture her first medal in track and field.

There is no denying that Jones is one of America’s best hurdlers in recent memory.  She currently holds the U.S. record for the 60 meter hurdles.

Jones is a three-time indoor national champion and has two gold medals from the World Championships.  As the brakewoman on the U.S. bobsled team, she won gold in the mixed team event at the 2013 Worlds.
