Paralympic Legend Chris Waddell Keynotes Relocation Policy Summit

Americas relocation policy & strategy summit takes place March 28-30 in Denver, Colorado. It will address challenges, explore top trends and talk about topics related to overall program management. 

The keynote speaker they are bringing in is sure to inspire many. Paralympic legend Chris Waddell has overcame great odds and he will discuss his journey with those in attendance. 

Waddell will speak from 10:30-11:20 a.m. on the final day of the event at The Westin Denver International Airport. In addition to all the presentations, there will be ample opportunity to network with with mobility leaders from across the world. 

Waddell was a ski racer at Middlebury College when a brutal accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. Rather then give up, he returned to college and learned how to monoski. 

Two years later, Waddell was named to the U.S. Disabled Ski Team. He ended up winning 12 Paralympic medals, which is the greatest haul for a male monskier in history. 

In 2009, Waddell was the first nearly unassisted paraplegic to reach the summit of Mt. Kilamanjaro. He is a member of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and the Paralympics Hall of Fame.
