Philadelphia Eagles Rookie Carson Wentz Signs Endorsement Deal with BlackRidgeBANK

As quarterback Carson Wentz prepares for his first NFL season, he remains a big hit in the state he put on the college football map.  The former North Dakota State standout has agreed to an endorsement deal with BlackRidgeBANK.

BlackRidgeBANK is based in Fargo where the campus of NDSU also lies.  Wentz will take part in a wide variety of advertising initiatives.

The deal covers radio, television, billboard and print ads in the Fargo and Bismarck regions.  Wentz will also be featured prominently on the organization's various social media channels.

The Philadelphia Eagles selected Wentz with the second overall pick in this spring's NFL Draft.  Last night, he played over a half in his first preseason game, a 17-9 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Wentz flashed ability rarely seen from a prospect at the FCS level in his two years as a starter for the Bison.  During his tenure at NDSU, he saw the program win five FCS National Championships.

The last two years, Wentz was named Most Outstanding Player of the title game.  As a senior, he had to battle back from injury to lead the Bison to the title.
