Potential Top 5 NBA Draft Pick Josh Jackson Signs Endorsement Deal with Under Armour

In advance of tonight's NBA Draft, top shoe and apparel brands are scooping up the top prospects. Potential top-five pick Josh Jackson is one of the latest to sign an endorsement deal, agreeing to terms with Under Armour.

Under Armour's senior marketing director, Kris Stone, announced the partnership on Instagram. He is the first major player under consideration in the draft to sign with the brand since Emmanuel Mudiay in 2015.

Last year, Under Armour sales went over the $1 billion mark for the first time. They have largely been made a player in basketball circles due to the success of two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry

In his one season at the University of Kansas, Jackson averaged 16.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-Big 12 pick.

Jackson was also named an All-American by several publications. He helped lead the Jayhawks to a Big 12 title and the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Jackson was a consensus five-star recruit coming out of Justin-Siena High School in Napa, California. He played in the McDonald's All-American Game and scored 19 points on the way to winning Co-MVP honors.
