Pro Football Hall of Famer Darrell Green Holds Youth Summit

Pro Football Hall of Famer Darrell Green is noted for giving back to the community. For the third straight year, he recently held the "South Youth Strong Community" Youth Summit in southern California.

Green partnered with Centene Corporation, Health Net and the NFL to host the event. Fellow Hall of Famers Anthony Munoz and Aeneas Wiliams joined him to share valuable life lessons.

The event began at the Sacramento Convention Center before transitioning to Cal State Northridge and La Trade Tech Community College. Each player was able to share stories from their upbringing and career.

Green built an incredible legacy at cornerback for the Washington Redskins from 1983-2002. He was named a seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro.

Green was part of some of the greatest Redskins teams off all-time, winning two Super Bowls and three NFC titles. He is also known as one of the fastest players in league history.

Green holds the NFL record for most games played by a defensive player and his 54 interceptions are a Washington career record. He is a member of the Washington Redskins Ring of Fame.
