Randy Moss Hosts Free Bi-Weekly Boot Camp Sessions in Charlotte

Retired wide receiver Randy Moss still knows how to cause a stir and no not just with his insightful NFL commentary every Sunday on FOX.  Moss is hosting bootcamp sessions twice every week in Charlotte that have become quite popular.

The free workout gets around 300 people each time.  Vice Sports recently chronicled how grueling the sessions Moss leads are.

Moss got involved in through co-organizer Emily Ross Watson and STAX Charlotte owner Eric McCoy.  The Randy Moss Football Academy runs out of McCoy’s CrossFit gym and set up for the growing boot camp to carry the former Pro Bowler’s name.

Moss sits second on the NFL all-time list with 156 touchdown catches.  He also holds the single-season record from when he caught 23 TDs during the New England Patriots 2007 perfect regular season.

After being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 1997, Moss spent his first seven years in purple while terrorizing defensive backs.  There have not been many players in league history to boast the same combination of size, speed, and skill at the position.

After retiring in 2012, Moss joined the FOX Sports team.  He currently is an analyst on FOX NFL Kickoff and also appears on various studio shows during the week.
