RIsing NBA Star Tobias Harris Heads Home for Basketball Camp

Orlando Magic star Tobias Harris is returning home to share life lessons and basketball skills.  Harris will host his annual camp at the New Cassel Community Center on Long Island August 17-21.

The camp costs $50 for the week and has a dual purpose.  Those in attendance will get an education on life in addition to basketball fundamentals.

Harris’ offseason figures to be busy outside of his camp.  He is a restricted free agent and is likely to field a lucrative contract offer after a career-best season in 2014-15.

Harris averaged 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds.  A top-notch statistician named Stephen Shea also recently came out with research that declared him the NBA’s most underrated player.

After a year and a half with the Milwaukee Bucks, Harris was traded to the Magic in 2012-13 and blossomed.  The Bucks originally selected him 19th overall out of the University of Tennessee in the 2011 NBA Draft.
