Seattle Mariners Ace Felix Hernandez Signs Endorsement Deal with Kinesio Holding Corporation

Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez has long been one of the best pitchers in baseball.  On Monday, Kinesio Holding Corporation announced that Hernandez is their first North American athlete endorser.

He will be representing Kinesio Tex Classic and Kinesio Pre-Cuts therapeutic tape.  The company has been around for over 35 years and is a trailblazer in sports rehabilitation.

“King Felix” as he was dubbed early in his major league career is the fourth youngest pitcher to ever rack up 2,000 strikeouts.  Currently, he sports a career record of 135-96 with a 3.07 ERA, all before his 30th birthday.

The five-time All-Star won the American League Cy Young in 2010 and has placed in the top five in balloting for the award four times.  Hernandez is off to another great start in 2015, sporting a 10-4 record with a 3.05 ERA.

The Venezuelan originally signed with the Mariners in 2002 and made his big league debut at 19 years of age in 2005.  There is a great chance that if Fernandez continues on his career track, he will one day be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
