Whisenhunt is about to embark on his second season with the Titans.  After a difficult 2-14 season, things are looking up with number two overall pick Marcus Mariota tabbed as the team’s quarterback of the future.

The Whisenhunt reputation was built from his six seasons as the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.  In just his second season, the Cardinals made it all the way to Super Bowl XLIII.

While offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Whisenhunt won a Super Bowl.  He has also been an assistant coach with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and San Diego Chargers.

His coaching career originally began on the college level at Vanderbilt after an eight year NFL playing career at tight end.
