Troy Football Coach Neal Brown Speaks at Enterprise Lion’s Club Meeting

Troy football coach Neal Brown makes it an initiative to get out in the community and speak to supporters. On Wednesday, he spoke at the Enterprise Lion's Club meeting.

Each week the Alabama-based club holds lunch meetings at PoFolks. Brown spoke about all the athletic programs at Troy and the success they are having.

He also thanked residents from Enterprise, Dothan and Ozark for supporting the school. Enterprise has been an important recruiting ground for Brown and Troy.

Brown became the head coach at Troy in 2015 and last year he led the Trojans to a 10-3 season. They had their first ten-win season since joining FBS in 2001, were ranked in the AP top 25 for the first time and scored a season-ending victory in the Dollar General Bowl.

Prior to becoming a head coach, Brown had tenures as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Kentucky and Texas Tech. He spent four seasons on the assistant staff at Troy as well.

Brown began his career coaching at his alma mater UMass before stops at Sacred Heart and Delaware. He is originally from Kentucky and began his playing career with the Wildcats before transferring to UMass.
