Dave Blaney Biography

Dave Blaney currently drives the No. 37 Chevrolet SS for Tommy Baldwin Racing on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. Blaney got his start in racing as a youngster in Hartford Township, Ohio, where he won the 1983 All-Star Spring Circuit Rookie of the Year Award. Over the next decade he established himself as one of the top amateur drivers on the circuit, winning the USAC Silver Crown Championship in 1984 and World of Outlaws championship in 1995. Blaney made his NASCAR debut in 1992 and has notched 59 top ten finishes and one win in 594 career starts over the span of the last 17 years. He has also made an appearance on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. For nearly two decades Blaney has been one of the premier drivers on the NASCAR circuit, and always seems to find his way up to the top of the pack when the checkered flag starts waving.
