Eddie Rosario Biography

Eddie Rosario is one of the most promising young outfielders in baseball. He stars for the Minnesota Twins, who originally drafted him in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft. Rosario made his big league debut in 2015 and hit a home run on the first pitch he saw. That season, he led baseball with 15 triples despite playing in just 122 games. Rosario finished sixth in American League Rookie of the Year voting. He had a true breakout season as the Twins everyday left fielder in 2017 and helped the franchise reach the playoffs for the first time since 2010. Internationally, he has competed for Puerto Rico at the 2013 and 2017 World Baseball Classic and won a silver medal each time.
