Jake Locker Biography

Jacob Cooper Locker, better known as Jake Locker, was an American football quarterback. Locker was born in Bellingham, Washington in 1988, where he led his high school football team to a 14-0 record and a state title. Locker also excelled tremendously in the sport of baseball and was even selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 2006 MLB Draft. Opting out, Locker chose to attend the University of Washington to play football instead. As a Huskie, he was the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, Freshman All-American and a three-time Honorable Mention All-Pac 10. With a year of eligibility remaining at Washington, Locker was projected to be a top prospect in the NFL Draft. He admirably chose to remain loyal to his Huskies and continue his collegiate career. After graduating, Locker was selected as the eighth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Titans. He spent four seasons in Tennessee and started 23 games.
