Joe DeLamielleure Biography

Joe DeLamielleure played 13 seasons in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns from 1973 to 1985 and put together one of the most legendary careers on the offensive line in NFL history. During his career he earned six Pro-Bowl selections and eight NFL All-Pro nods in route to earning a spot on the NFL 1970’s All-Decade Team, Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame and Cleveland Browns Wall of Fame. His numerous career accolades include being named the Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1973, NFLPA AFC Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1975 and earning the Forrest Gregg Award in 1977 as the NFL’s top offensive lineman. In 1985 he returned to Buffalo to retire with the Bills after five seasons with the Cleveland Browns. In 2003 he took his rightful place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame among the best players in NFL history.
