Logan Forsythe Biography

Logan Forsythe is a second baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The San Diego Padres originally selected Forsythe in the supplemental first round of the 2008 MLB Draft. He made his big league debut early in the 2011 season. Forsythe spent his first three major league seasons as a part-time player for the Padres. He became a more consistent contributor for the Tampa Bay Rays when he was acquired before the 2014 season. Forsythe had a career year in 2015, hitting .281 with 17 home runs and 68 RBI. He joined the Dodgers in a preseason trade in 2017 and helped the organization reach the World Series in his first season.
