Milan Lucic Biography

Milan Lucic is a professional hockey player who plays the left wing position with the Boston Bruins of the NHL. Milan always had a passion for hockey, and growing up he was a fan of his hometown team the Canucks. His career was in jeopardy when he was diagnosed with Scheurmann's Disease when he was just 15 years old, which causes the upper back to curve, but he persevered on. His junior career began in 2004 in the BCHL, and after playing in just a few games, he had the opportunity to show his talent the following season when he scored 19 points in 62 games. In 2007 he turned professional when he signed an entry level contract with the Boston Bruins. Since then he has had great success including being the recipient of the Presidents Cup, the Memorial Cup, been a part of the NHL Young Stars game, and led the Bruins to the 2011 Stanley Cup Championship.
