Mitchell Trubisky Biography

Mitchell Trubisky is a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Trubisky was the primary starter for the Chicago Bears for four seasons, winning the NFC North Division and making the Pro Bowl during his second season. The Bears originally elected Trubisky with the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Trubisky turned heads during his one season as a starting quarterback at the University of North Carolina. He threw for 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns against only six interceptions. Trubisky was an All-ACC third-team selection. Both his yardage and touchdown totals are school single-season records. He served as a backup quarterback during his first two seasons in Chapel Hill. Trubisky is from Mentor, Ohio and is a former Mr. Football in the state. Trubisky left UNC ranked fifth in career passing touchdowns, sixth in passing yards and seventh in total offense.
