The Brooklynettes are the current official dance team of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets. The team has followed the Nets from their move from New Jersey to Brooklyn, and adopted the name the Brooklynettes after the Nets moved in 2012. They are known as one of the edgier dance groups within the NBA, as their dances and outfits are the brain child of rap legend Jay-Z, who was a part owner of the Nets up until he sold the team in 2013.
