Timmy Jernigan Biography

Timmy Jernigan is a defensive tackle for the Houston Texans. Jernigan was a star at Florida State. He was named a first-team All-American and second-team All-ACC selection in 2013. That season, he helped the Seminoles win their second straight ACC crown and the BCS National Championship. The Baltimore Ravens went on to select Jernigan in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. That year, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie. Jernigan started 15 games in 2016 and finished second with 5.5 sacks. He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles the following offseason. Jernigan helped Philadelphia win Super Bowl LII. Jernigan signed with the Texans in 2020.
