Trevor Bayne Biography

Trevor Bayne bursts onto the scene in the premier series of NASCAR, the Sprint Cup Series, after winning the prestigious Daytona 500 in only his second career series start just a day after he turned 20 making him the youngest winner in the events history. Before he made it to NASCAR and won the Daytona 500, Bayne began his career in motorsports in go-karts at the age of 5. After developing his skill and moving up the ladder he began racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2009. After just about two seasons he made the move to the top series of the sport in a part time role with the legendary Wood brothers in the famous number 21 car, the car and team he won the Daytona 500 with in 2011. Beginning with the 2015 season Trevor is moving from the Wood Brothers to a full-time schedule in the series with Roush Fenway Racing.
