The Los Angeles Dodgers have baseball's best record and one of the team's most popular players was well-received at an appearance this weekend. Joc Pederson was at the Nordstrom Del Amo Fashion Center store in Torrance, California following the Dodgers 2-1 win over the San Francisco Giants Saturday afternoon.
From 7-8:30 p.m., Pederson took part in fan meet and greet and photo session. There was no autographs or personal memorabilia accepted at the event.
Pederson was there on behalf of one of his endorsement partners, Mizzen + Main. Those who made a purchase from their Men's Sportswear collection received VIP access.
Coming into 2017, Pederson has had back-to-back seasons with at least 25 home runs. In 2015, he was named an All-Star and finished sixth in National League Rookie of the Year voting.
Pederson also competed in the Home Run Derby that year and started in left field during the game for the NL. He originally made his major league debut in 2014 after becoming the first player in 80 years to hit 30 home runs and steal 30 bases in the Pacific Coast League.
For his impressive performance with the Albuquerque Isotopes, Pederson was named PCL MVP and Baseball America's AAA Player of the Year. He was also an All-Star in the Pioneer League, Rookie League and Southern League during his time in the minors.
