Arkansas football coach Bret Bielema is one of the most colorful personalities in his sport. He is sure to have a most-entertaining presentation when he serves as keynote speaker for the Mississippi Bowl Banquet.
The event takes place December 2nd at the MGCCC Hospitality & Resort Management Center. The center lies on the campus of the Jefferson Davis Campus between Gulfport and Biloxi.
The game itself will also be on campus at A.L May Memorial Stadium on December 4th. It features top junior college teams from the state.
Bielema is in his fourth seasons as the head coach at Arkansas and has the Razorbacks sitting at 7-4. He has led the program to back-to-back bowl victories.
Prior to arriving in Fayetteville, Bielema was the head coach at Wisconsin for seven years. The Badgers finished in the top 25 six times on his watch and won three Big Ten titles.
Bielema played college football at the University of Iowa and coached there for eight years. He also had assitant coaching tenures at Kansas State and UW before taking over the Badgers program.
