Arkansas Football Coach Bret Bielema Kicks Off Little Rock Touchdown Club

With football season fast approaching, people across the state of Arkansas are getting excited. One of the top events that signifies the beginning of the new year is the kickoff meeting for the Little Rock Touchdown Club.

University of Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema was the speaker for the Monday event. There were around 500 people who attended the festivities at the Embassy Suites.

Bielema talked about his football team and the upcoming season for 35 minutes. He specifically addressed his team's change to a 3-4 defensive scheme.

Bielema is entering his fifth season with the Razorbacks. He had the most of his success during a seven-year run at the University of Wisconsin.

The Badgers finished the season in the top 25 six times under Bielema's watch. He won three straight Big Ten Championships from 2010-2012 and was the Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2006.

Bielema spent two seasons at the Wisconsin defensive coordinator before becoming the head coach. He began his career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Iowa.
