Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson is one of brightest rising stars. Companies have started to take notice and last week he agreed to an endorsement deal with New Era. 

Several major baseball standouts have agreements with New Era. In addition to Swanson, they also made pacts with fellow up-and-coming personalities like Jose Altuve, Mookie Betts, Corey Seager and Noah Syndergaard. 

Swanson's deal is even more impressive since he has only played in 38 major league games. He will be featured this Spring Training in an ad campaign with the new New Era brand ambassadors. 

After an August call-up, Swanson hit .302 with three home runs and 17 RBI. That strong debut came on the heels of his appearance in the All-Star Futures Game. 

The Arizona Diamondbacks originally drafted Swanson with the top overall pick of the 2015 MLB Draft. He played college baseball at Vanderbilt, where he led the Commodores to the College World Series while being named Most Outstanding Player in 2014.
