Baltimore Orioles All-Star Adam Jones is one of the most recognizable faces in baseball. He has done his hometown of San Diego, California proud and is hosting a camp there next month to inspire the next generation of great athletes from the area. 

The Major League Baseball Players Association Adam Jones "Players Going Home" Baseball ProCamp takes place January 22nd. Jones' camp will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at his alma mater, Morse High School.

The sold-out camp is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8. Those in attendance receive an autograph from Jones, team photo and camp t-shirt. 

Jones is a five-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove winner in center field. The Seattle Mariners originally selected him in the first round of the 2003 MLB Draft. 

Jones made his major league debut with the Mariners in 2006 before being traded to the Orioles in 2008. For the past six seasons, he has hit at least 25 home runs each year. 

In addition to his outstanding play, Jones has been a leader for a Baltimore team that has become a contender again in the American League East Division. He was a member of Team USA in the World Baseball Classic and will participate in the tournament again this upcoming spring.
