Baltimore Ravens Great Ray Lewis Keynotes Area Graduation Ceremony

Baltimore Ravens legend Ray Lewis continues to loom large in the city where he played his entire pro career. Yesterday, he spoke at the graduation ceremony for the District Court Re-Entry Project. 

The project gives ex-offenders an opportunity to successfully rehabilitate their lives. There is already 50 people enrolled in the program throughout Baltimore. 

There are 13 different organizations involved in DCREP from industries like renewable energy installation, automotive repair and construction. They receive criminal case defendants for training that are referred by judges. 

Lewis was a mainstay at linebacker during the first 17 years of the Ravens franchise existence. He was named to 13 Pro Bowls and was a seven-time first-team All-Pro.

Lewis was a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He also won two Super Bowls in Baltimore and was Most Valuable Player of the game in 2000. 

Lewis led the league in tackles on five occasions and is known as one of the greatest linebackers ever. Most recently, he served as an analyst for ESPN and was prominent on the network's coverage of the NFL Draft.
